Xiros' second hideout
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Police have discovered a second home thought to be linked to Christodoulos Xiros, the fugitive terror convict who was recaptured on Saturday.
According to reports it is located in the area of Loutraki and had been rented by an accomplice of Xiros using the forged ID card police discovered when they captured Xiros.
A van was uncovered in the grounds of the residence. Police believe Xiros and accomplices were planning to use such a vehicle in a bold attack on Korydallos prison in an attempt to free jailed members of the guerilla group ‘Cells of Fire’.
Police are currently searching the house.
