- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Scientists, on Prof. Varotsos seismological team, are waiting for a big earthquake, estimated at more than 6R.
The area that could yield such a strong seismic shock is believed to be Central Greece and more specific the area from Attiki to northeastern Corinthia, eastern Fthiotida, southern Magnisia and Evia.
Prof. Panagiotis Varotsos and his scientific team released a survey in the web site of Cornell University.
According to the survey, the seismological station of Keratea recorded various pre-earthquake signals for Central Greece on the electromagnetic spectrum.
