Warren Buffett buys island in the Saronic Gulf!

American tycoon Warren Buffett and Italian millionaire Alessandro Proto bought the island of St. Thomas in the Bay Aegina, according to a company press release Proto Group Ltd, which operates in the field of real estate.
The purchase was completed on Thursday for a total sum of EUR 15 million. Warren Buffett and Alessandro Proto are planning real estate development on the island.
The island covers an area of 1.2 square kilometers.
For Alessandro Proto, shareholder along with Carlos Slim of the New York Times, this is the third largest transaction in real estate by Warren Buffett, who says: "There are many opportunities in Greece at the moment and many people are ready to invest."
