Schauble Supports Austerity for Greece

German finance minister Wolfgang Schäuble considers the cutback policies enforced in Greece, correct, as he stated on German public radio, adding that any relaxation in austerity would be a mistake.
"The success we can see in the eurozone and Greece shows that we are on the right track. That's why we have to avert the mistake of relaxing efforts the moment we have the first positive results. We, and Greece, must understand this as a reaffirmation that the track is correct and therefore we must remain on it. Nd, finally, it is beneficial to stay on the road" said the German finance minister.
Mr. Schäuble maintained that Germany wants to support Greece under the condition that all obligations undertaken by Greece be adhered to.
