Freighter runs aground off Lesvos

A Dutch-flagged freighter carrying pipes ran aground early Wednesday in the sea region north of Lesvos island.
According to initial information, the seven member crew freighter's destination is not yet known as well as the port it had left from.
Authorities have not confirmed if the ship is carrying refugees and migrants.
A coast guard patrol vessel is currently at the spot while a frontex vessel, and an open seas patrol vessel is rushing to the area.
