Labour Min: Initial political agreement on programme review can be achieved by Monday
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
An initial political agreement on the issues of the second programme review can be achieved by Monday, December 5, Labour Minister Efi Achtsioglou said.
The minister concluded a series of contacts in the European Parliament and won the support of MEPs from different political groups in the issue of collective negotiations.
Achtsioglou added that the labour issues will dominate the next Eurogroup, stressing that is a deep political matter and not a matter that can be solved at staff level negotiations.
MEPs underlined that Greece should not be excluded from the EU acquis due to its fiscal adjustment programme and Europe should not let that happen.
