New Democracy: No protection for working class homes
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Main opposition New Democracy (ND) spokeswoman Maria Spyraki sternly attacked the government over the auction of homes for outstanding debts while briefing the press on Friday.
"The is no protection framework for working classes homes. ND's government had protected the primary home," she said, adding that her party can find the properties of those that have sent their money abroad.
Referring the stance adopted by ND MEPs in the vote for an embargo on arms sales to Saudi Arabia, Spyraki said that ND had voted for the control of arms sales to the Arab country.
