A major anti-terrorist operation in Athens and elsewhere is in progress since Tuesday morning.
There have already been six arrests of people being investigated for involvement in a criminal organization, possession of explosives, and arson.
According to first information, they are people who are part of right-wing groups and are suspected of attacks on anarchist posts, squats and the recent attack on the "Favela" space
According to the same sources, they are members of the far-right organization "Combat 18 Hellas" who have committed more than 15 incendiary attacks on anti-authoritarian hangouts and occupations. At the same time, house searches are being carried out.
According to police sources, the counter-terrorism investigation is being conducted to identify and locate the perpetrators of the Favela attack on February 25th, as well as other attacks.
According to information, one of the perpetrators has been identified by a lawyer who was in the anarchist squat at the time of the assault.
