State Department for Koufondinas: Terrorists should not get vacations from prison
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Their intense condemnation for the granting of new prison leave to Dimitris Koufodinas is expressed by the US.
"We strongly condemn the latest release on furlough of N17 terrorist Dimitris Koufodinas, convicted of multiple killings including US Mission staff in #Greece. This is a shameful injustice to victims' families - terrorists should not get vacations from prison," says State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert.
Last Sunday, Dimitris Koufodinas received his fourth exit from the agricultural prisons of Volos, where he has been transferred and detained for a few months. The "November 17" hitman is obliged to return to the prison on Friday morning, following the short-term furlough approved by the competent Volos Prison Council.
