Migrant fracas turns downtown Athens into battleground
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Four people were injured and transferred to a hospital after a fierce fracas between foreigners yesterday in Omonoia, downtown Athens, while the police proceeded to nine arrests, altogether.
According to information from police sources, the confrontation is due to differences between groups of aliens loitering in the greater Omonia area.
It is noted that a man had lost his life and five others had been injured in the same area on January 31, 2019, after a Pakistani-Afghan struggle.
