Tsipras pays three-day visit to Paris

SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras will pay a three-day visit to Paris as of Tuesday as the guest of honor of a conference launching the Chair of Sovereign Debt at the Sciences Po (Paris Institute of Political Studies) on Wednesday, a party statement said on Monday.
On the day of his arrival, Tuesday afternoon, the main opposition leader will meet with former French president Francois Hollande, and attend a dinner in his honor by Sciences Po. The dinner will be attended by academics, businesspeople and intellectuals.
At the main event on Wednesday, "A Lesson from Greece: Conversation with Alexis Tsipras", he will be introduced by Sciences Po President Frederic Mion and the conversation with faculty and students moderated by Enrico Letta, dean of the Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs. The event is scheduled for 17:00-21:00 local time.
The same day, Tsipras is scheduled to have lunch with outgoing European Finance Commissioner Pierre Moscovici.
On Thursday, the former prime minister will meet with French economist Thomas Piketty.
