The restrictive measures for the spread of the coronavirus, which were in force until April 27, have been extended until May 4, government spokesman Stelios Petsas said during a briefing to political reporters, noting that the measures of the transition plan will be announced next week.
"We are showing a high sense of individual responsibility and collective maturity," he said, adding that "staying on the same path will soon lead to a gradual transition to a new era, to a new norm where many people's habits and behaviors will have changed."
