Severe weather hits Volos: traffic prohibited, one dead - one missing

The situation is extremely difficult in Volos, which is severely affected by the bad weather Daniel. A dead rancher and a missing person is the tragic toll.
A man, reportedly a livestock farmer, died when a wall of his house caved in under the weight of the water, while another man, 42, is missing, as his car was reportedly swept away by a stream.
At the same time, it was decided to impose a curfew in Volos and in the wider area of the capital of Magnesia, from 10:30 a.m. until later, by decision and order of the Greek Police.
Through a 112 message sent to all mobile phones, it is stated that "by order of the Greek Police, traffic is prohibited in the wider area of the city of Volos due to the development of dangerous weather phenomena".
Already in the area the bad weather has worsened and the ongoing heavy storm has become more intense since 10:30, while visibility has been reduced to a minimum.
