The head of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' press office Dimitris Tsiodras spoke on Sunday on public broadcaster ERT about the Mitsotakis-Blinken meeting in Chania and Greek-Turkish relations.
"The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke on Saturday of Greece's leading role in the region, which is extremely important. It is something that is not easily said. It is said because Greece has gained this role over the years and it has really played a leading role in the region. It is a pillar of stability and this is due to the policy that Kyriakos Mitsotakis has followed," Tsiodras stressed.
"Regarding the decisions that will be made in the next period, we have made the request, as you know, for joining the F-35 program. We expect positive news in the next period in this regard," Tsiodras pointed out.
