Social kitchen, "The Other Man" founder accused of money laundering, embezzled 140,000 euro donation from Greek American benefactor

A few days ago, the founder of the social kitchen, "The Other Man", Konstantinos Polychronopoulos, was placed under investigation for fraud and money laundering by the Anti-Money Laundering Authority.
According to the Authority's conclusion, Constantinos Polychronopoulos is said to have formed a criminal organization with his relatives, obtaining more than 600,000 euros.
As surfaced later, Polychronopoulos was seen gambling on electronic slot machines, with witnesses from the betting establishment saying that he had lost over 1.5 million euros, over the last few years.
Now one witness claims that a140,000 euros donated by a Greek American benefactor was part of the money tha Polychronopoulos sequestered for personal use.
Formerly homeless Polychronopoulos had garnered a reputation as a person feeding the needy and homeless and a bevy of politicians and well-known personalities had lavished money and foodstuffs for his kitchen and had rushed for photo opportunities serving food to the needy.
