Those interested still have 10 days, until the end of the month, to submit their application to claim a position in the National Intelligence Service.
Through a notice, it is proceeding for the first time in 5 years to hire 110 employees, including 30 "hackers", in the context of shielding and strengthening the national security of our country.
The 30 cyberspace operators, the so-called hackers, will also be the spearhead of the national intelligence service, as cyber espionage has evolved in recent years.
Their role will be pivotal in terms of the digital security of the country's public administration infrastructure.
The new "hackers" of the EYP: Their decisive role in national cybersecurity
Some of their critical tasks have to do with the collection and processing of information regarding the intentions, capabilities and operational activities of hostile cyber actors, the collection and processing of information regarding operational activities on the so-called dark web, the development and management of systems based on artificial intelligence technologies and the collection of data related to transactions through digital currencies.
As for the technical computer and network sector, the tasks have to do, among other things, with the design and development of computer systems and components that compose them, the design and effective operation of the service's data communication networks.
In the programming sector, the tasks have to do, indicatively, with the implementation of tools and applications related to the security of information systems and databases, while, as iefimerida has already written, positions of human resources management, legal and economists will be filled.
By the end of the year, two more recruitment cycles will follow, with one involving 130 people - operational agents of the EYP.
