The committee has the important mission of developing and proposing the themes to be promoted during our presidency in the field of justice, coordinating the work of the legislative groups of the Council of the EU, as well as organising the necessary meetings with the EU institutions and the delegations of the Member States in the context of promoting the objectives of the Greek Presidency," Floridis said.
During the inaugural meeting, issues regarding the functioning of the working groups and the preparation of ministerial meetings were discussed. The topics to be promoted within the framework of cooperation among the three member states, Ireland, Lithuania, and Greece, which will successively assume the presidency of the Council of the EU were also outlined.
