Featured Greek woman rescued from Venezuela's quake rubble after 13 days, lost, then found again

The Greek woman who was pulled alive from the rubble of a building 13 days after the deadly earthquake in Venezuela has been located and is in good health, as members of the Greek community report to Greek website iefimerida.gr.

“The Greek woman who was trapped in the building that collapsed in the Catia La Mar area in La Guaria by the deadly earthquake has been located for several days. She herself had no contact with the Greek community in the country and we believed that she had moved with her daughters to Germany,” members of the Greek community in the country point out to iefimerida.

As they reveal, “the issue arose because the woman was not taken to the hospital when she was freed and her daughters, who live in Germany, had no news of her. She herself had not initially contacted either the embassy or the Greek community and her daughters, as you can imagine, were worried. However, according to the latest information we have, everything went well. The woman, who was trapped in the rubble along with three other people, is now at a friend's house in the Caracas area and her daughters have been in contact with her," the same sources tell iefimerida
