Mystery with dead infant in a container hidden in a suitcase at an Airbnb in Kypseli

Featured Mystery with dead infant in a container hidden in a suitcase at an Airbnb in Kypseli

Investigations continue into both the infant who was found dead in a container hidden in a suitcase and the people found inside the house in Kypseli where the macabre find was located, with many unanswered questions.

Based on the information so far, the 43-year-old Greek man who was found inside the apartment, the 28-year-old German woman who was with him, and their 15-year-old daughter - none of whom were related to the owner of the apartment who made the complaint that initiated the investigation - are expected to be charged in the first phase with failure to report the discovery of a dead person.

At the same time, the 43-year-old and the 26-year-old Afghan man who is alleged to be the 15-year-old's partner, will also be charged with drug possession.

The police officers who have taken over the case are awaiting the coroner's report, which is expected to shed light on the question of who gave birth to the baby, as the claim of the 28-year-old German woman who claimed that the baby was hers is being examined.

The coroner's investigation is also expected to clarify whether it is a baby or a fetus of a few weeks old.

The identity of the two boys, aged 12 and 9, who were found inside the Kypseli apartment also remains a mystery.

It is recalled that everything started after a complaint made by an Airbnb owner on Thasou Street that people who had rented it and were not paying the stipulated price were not leaving the house, noting that they were using drugs.

According to information, police motorcycle units cars were passing by the spot, with the owner stopping them and taking them to the apartment where the 43-year-old Greek man, the 28-year-old German woman, their 15-year-old aughter and the 26-year-old Afghan man were located.
