One-off benefit announced

The one-off social benefit dividend that will be distributed in May will be 500 euros per person, or 833 euros for families with two children.
This came out of the new meeting that took place at the state accounting office, with the participation of alternate finance minister Christos Staikouras and representatives of PASOK.
The benefit will be given to low income- and low-pension earners, and the long-term unemployed.
It is estimated that families with incomes under 6,000 a year and property worth less than 125,000 for an unmarried person, and 250,000 euros for families with two or more adults.
