The deposition of confessed killer of hip-hop artist Pavlos Fyssas, Giorgos Roupakias has been completed after less than three hours at the prosecutor's office facing charges of manslaughter with intent and breach of law on weapons. He was remanded into custody and was eventually deposited at Korydallos prison.
In his deposition, Roupakias maintained that he did not assault anyone, but was acting in self-defense, as he had been assaulted by a group. He also said he was in a nearby cafeteria, and not where the fight started.
When asked why he had entered the street on the opposite lane he retorted that he was closed in and it was the only way out. As to his knife, he said that he was attacked and had to defend himself and that was why he got the knife from the car
