Greek-Australian designer causes controversy with model who dragged woman by legs on Sydney catwalk

The show presented by Greek-Australian fashion designer Iordanes Spyridon Gogos (ISG) as part of the Australian Fashion Week held in Sydney provoked discussions and reactions.
The ISG show featured a male model in a draped green skirt dragging a female colleague of his by the legs down the catwalk, who was motionless as if lifeless.
At the end of the catwalk, the man even lifted the woman onto their shoulders with her head hanging towards the floor.
“You can always expect an Iordanes Spyridon Gogos fashion show to highlight the strange, the wild and the wonderful,” they wrote in the caption of the video posted on Instagram by the website So Sydney.
Commenters, however, were divided, with some wondering where the “fashion” was. “When stupidity is confused with creativity,” wrote another, “Sydney Fashion Week is so disgusting,” commented another, with a third scathingly commenting that the show contained “so much drama, so little fashion.” “Okay, great, but where’s the fashion?” asked another commenter, while one woman said she would rather be “stabbed in the eye with a sharp object” than pretend the show was even remotely interesting.
Despite the criticism, Jordan Gogos, who hails from the Lower Assos region of Corinth, remains one of the most respected designers in Australian fashion. As reported by news.com.au, the designer, who also works in furniture design and fine art, is often seen as a pioneer in inclusivity and queerness. Vogue Australia has previously praised his work as “unhindered by conventional thinking,” noting “levels of craftsmanship worthy of being housed in a museum.”
