Greek men's water polo team claims World Championship Bronze
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The Greek men's water polo team made history, winning the bronze medal at the World Championships, a day after the Greek women's team clinched the gold.
The team defeated Olympic champion Serbia 16-7 in a dominant performance in the third-place match. An 8-0 scoring run and a stellar game from Goalkeeper Panagiotis Tzortzatos helped secure the victory.
The win avenged an earlier Olympic loss to Serbia. The bronze is the second medal for Greece at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, marking a major success for the nation's water polo program.
