A Turkish channel reported that Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to the US, which was scheduled for May 9, has been cancelled. The Turkish president was invited by Joe Biden in order to discuss critical issues such as the war in Gaza, economic and defense issues.
According to Oda TV, the Turkish president's visit was canceled as the US House of Representatives passed the bill giving a $26 billion aid package to Israel.
The reason is clear
The Republican-dominated US House of Representatives has approved a $95 billion aid bill from Israel and Taiwan, ending a six-month political stalemate as Ukraine's oil reserves were poised to evaporate in its war against Russia
The $95 billion package, approved by the Republican-dominated US House of Representatives, includes $61 billion for aid to Ukraine, $26 billion for Israel and $8 billion for security in the Indo-Pacific region. Pacific (Taiwan).
Of the $26 billion package available to Israel, $9 billion is slated for humanitarian aid to be used in various war zones, including Gaza.

A little later, another Turkish network, Haber Meydani, made the same post. The post states: "Recep Tayyip Erdogan's official visit to the US was scheduled for May 9. However, it was reported that the Turkish president's first meeting with US President Joe Biden at the White House was cancelled.
