hand in hand to advance regional and global security, inclusive economic growth, and enhanced regional energy connectivity. I’m proud of our recent successes. We’ve seen firsthand the revitalization of Elefsina shipyards through
a $125 million investment from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation and the creation of good, quality jobs for local Greek workers. We’ve seen Greece become a top ten destination worldwide for U.S. students
studying abroad. We’ve worked with our Greek partners to advance regional security cooperation and strengthen NATO interoperability. Our countries’ friendship is bound by our shared commitment to democratic values, our deep peopleto-people ties, and Greece’s role as a pillar of stability in the region and a key NATO Ally.”
