Prime minister Antonis Samaras attended the final phase of armed forces exercise Pyrpolitis that took place on Dokos island near the island of Hydra.
Mr Samaras and the leadership of the armed forces, along with members of the armed forces committee of parliament, watched the unfolding scenario from aboard the frigate Salamis, under adverse weather conditions.
"This difficult joint exercise, a very successful exercise, shows the high morale, the decisiveness, and the spirit of the armed forces,” said the prime minister.
