KKE Refuses Vote on Funding Cuts for Golden Dawn
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Former KKE (communist party) secretary general Aleka Papariga caused a stir when she announced in parliament that her party would not vote the amendment for shutting off government funding for parties whose deputies are facing criminal prosecution.
Although the amendment is aimed at neo-Nazi Golden Dawn, Ms Papariga noted that the KKE did not wish to aid ND and PASOK to reinforce its legal arsenal.
In a shocking admission, Aleka Papariga noted that "we do not recognize this parliament, either as content, or a means of promotion... despite acting well."
The former KKE SG also noted that her party still held the "hammer and sickle" high, while Golden Dawn feign that their swastikas are decorative items.
Ms Papariga noted attacked public order minister Nikos Dendias for trying to equate the murder of Pavlos Fyssas with throwing yogurt at politicians
