- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Unknown assailants attacked a police station in the area of Vyronas with petrol bombs late last night.
According to police a group of about 10-20 hooded individuals threw petrol bombs at the station. There were no injuries reported although one patrol car was damaged by the flames in the brief attack.
Police are conducting investigations to identify the attackers.
The attack comes as Athens and other Greek cities brace themselves for possible unrest in light of the anniversary of the murder of Alexandros Grigoropoulos on the 6th of December.
