In a New Year message for 2015, Prime Minister Antonis Samaras on Wednesday expressed confidence that Greece had entered a growth course that would soon be apparent to all.
"From my position, I will do everything so that all the difficulties we have gone through are left behind us for good," he added, saying the country would from now on only look forward.
"Provided we remain united, on the path of stability and growth, on the path that leads to a better tomorrow and doesn't slide back to yesterday, with the help of God we will succeed," he said.
Samaras said that, above all, he wished the country unity and prudence so that the nation's struggles were vindicated, the crisis would become past.
"A good year to all and your loved ones," the premier's message concluded.
