Varoufakis and Theodorakis celebrate in Chania

Minister of Economics, Mr. Yanis Varoufakis, and the leader of “Potami”, Mr. Stavros Theodorakis, honoured by their presence the 194th anniversary of Greek Independence Day (March 25th 1821) in Chania.
They both were present in the Cathedral, afterwards they went to the Memorial Park and laid a wreath, and then watched the parade.
Mr. Varoufakis arrived at 10 a.m. at Chania airport, escorted by his wife, Danai.
Mr. Theodorakis will be in Chania until tomorrow. During Thursday morning he will hold a Press conference for the local media.
