- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
A Euro Working Group teleconference will take place at 15.00 (Athens time) to assess the progress of the negotiations between Greece and the partners on a Brussels Group's level.
Finance ministry's officials said that the negotiations last several hours and continue for a fifth day.
In the meantime, Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis travels to Riga, Latvia, for the informal Eurogroup meeting on Friday.
Speaking at the 20th Banking Forum, Varoufakis expressed certainty that an agreement would be reached and the situation would be stabilised. "The convergence is clear and the institutions acknowledge it," the minister said, adding however that there won’t necessarily be a solution at the next Eurogroup.
