4.4 magnitude tremor shakes Crete

A light tremor measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale shook the island of Crete, at 01:14 on Wednesday, according to the Geodynamics Institute of Athens’ National Observatory.
The epicentre of the earthquake was located 329 kilometres south of Athens, 89 kilometres west-northwest of Gavdos and its depth was 10 kilometres.
