According to eyewitnesses, just before the explosion, a car stopped, a person got out, left something at the entrance to the building and then returned to the car, which left at high speed.
Then followed the explosion that caused extensive material damage not only to the building. It is not certain yet which was the target, as the building houses a tax services branch office, a bank, one hotel and law firms among others. Parked cars were damaged as well but no one was injured.
Police forces immediately blocked the area and began investigating the attack.
It should be noted that from the information so far, it seems that the was no warning call made as it usually happens.
