- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos

Turkish Defense Minister Hulousi Akar, in an interview with Anadolu, presented a map showing how Ankara wants the EEZ. An important detail of this map was pointed out by Professor Angelos Syrigo talking to SKAI.
According to the Associate Professor of International Law and Foreign Policy at Panteion University, Turkey has so far presented maps with claims reaching up to the east of Crete. On the map shown yesterday in his interview, Hulusi Akar, it seems that in the regions they claim is also south of Crete! It is recalled that a few years ago in a NATO meeting the Turks had challenged Gavdos.
