Primary surplus of 4.6 billion for Jan. - Oct.

A primary surplus of € 4.6 billion was budgeted in the January-October period, compared with € 4.66 billion in the corresponding period last year.
According to the Bank of Greece, the central government cash flow showed a deficit of € 334 million against a deficit of € 567 million in the corresponding period of 2017. During this period, the revenue from the regular budget amounted to 40,750 billion euros, up from 38,667 billion euros last year. Regarding regular budget expenditure, including expenditure of approximately € 2,628 billion, relating to the repayment of overdue debts (compared with € 1,710 billion last year), it amounted to 41,156 billion euros, down from 41,638 billion euros in January -October 2017.
