Four politicians who are leading separate parties today have decided to constitute a large coalition to the right of the Right, in the run-up to the elections.
Clarifying that "we are not fascists, nor speculators of patriotism" and stressing that "the country needs a leader", independent MP Dimitris Kammenos announced his party alliance with Giorgos Karatzaferis, Kyriakos Velopoulos and Phailos Kranidiotis.
"Karatzaferis, Velopoulos, Kranidiotis and myself," he said, referring to cooperation and asked for opinion polls in February, "to see where we are going", meaning percentages and the head of the new coalition.
As he estimates, the percentage of the coalition, "without factoring the Golden Dawn percentage, is about 12%".
Finally, he said that "if the poll gives Failos or Velopoulos" for the position of leader, "we will all stand back".
Recently, the president of the "Hellenic Force" Dimitris Kammenos had announced the coalition:
"There has to be a big right patriotic front and the word "right" is not in the title, because in the end everyone thought it was bad. It is not bad and I hope that until the election or some months before, there will be a patriotic coalition and we will all go to elections together as a single front. I can not say who I'm talking with but in this political space there are also Giorgos Karatzaferis and Phailos Kranidiotis and Kyriakos Velopoulos, not Golden Dawn. I think we will have surprising names as well," said Kammenos.
