Protesting farmers withdraw tractors from Tempi tunnels
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The farmers from Nikea blockade that had blocked on Saturday the tunnels of Tempi on the Athens-Thessaloniki motorway decided to withdraw their tractors from Tempi.
The member of the blockades' committee Costas Tzelas said that the farmers have sent their message to the government which must find solutions to their demands immediately.
The farmers at Nikea blockade will hold a new meeting to decide on the future of the mobilisations while expecting the government's invitation for dialogue.
The farmers want to meet with a group of ministers under the chairmanship of government vice president Yiannis Dragasakis.
