Czech Republic donates firefighting vehicles and equipment to Megara Fire Brigade

The Czech Republic donated to the Fire Brigade of Megara two fire fighting vehicles, a Pick-up and a Van, and firefighting equipment to express its gratitude to the Greek firemen who offered their services and protection to Czech citizens that were spending their holidays in Kinetta, Attica region, when a major wildfire broke out in the area on 23 July 2018.
The vehicles and the equipment were delivered on Saturday in the presence of the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Greece Jan Bondy and Deputy Chief of operation of the Fire Brigade, lieutenant general Stefanos Kolokouris at a special event held in Megara.
