Health Minister Kikilias meets British ambassador to Greece Kate Smith

Health Minister Vasilis Kikilias on Thursday met with British Ambassador to Greece Kate Smith, and discussed the strengthening of the two countries’ collaboration on issues of mutual interest.
Kikilias and Smith agreed to sign a cooperation accord focusing in sectors of the primary healthcare system, in preventative care, as well as in the exchange of technical know-how in tackling corruption in the health sector, and in the evaluation of services provided by state hospitals.
Special emphasis was given to the exchange of know-how in the field of health tourism, via specific actions and initiatives.
Concerning the possibility of a hard Brexit, the two sides agreed to take measures protecting the healthcare of Britons in Greece and of Greeks in Britain.
