Priest to be appointed to Castellorizo

A priest in Castellorizo is expected to be appointed by the end of the month, on a special initiative by Education Minister Niki Kerameos.
The Ministry of Education has decided to immediately place a priest on the frontier island as the former is already in retirement but remains on the island serving the needs of the flock however it can.
Education Minister Niki Kerameos has taken the initiative and has taken special care of Castellorizo, and the issue is expected to be resolved next week. According to the same information, care has been taken for the priest and his family to stay on the island to be near his flock.
