More than 200,000 registered for postal vote before Monday deadline

The deadline for registering on the platform for a postal vote in the upcoming European elections expired at midnight on Monday, with the final number registered exceeding 200,000 in 128 countries.
In total, 202,556 voters registered for a postal vote, of which 153,322 were residents of Greece and 49,234 (24.3%) were Greeks living abroad. The highest number of registrations by voters abroad was in Germany (9,578), followed by the United Kingdom (9,090), the United States (3,857), Belgium (3,491), the Netherlands (3,119) and Cyprus (2,808).
