Stricter curfew measures imposed on Mykonos and Santorini

A strict curfew has been imposed on the islands of Mykonos and Santorini from Monday to curb the spread of coronavirus, after a request made by their mayors.
The measures will apply from 8:00 on Monday morning for 14 days, with the possibility of a further extension. They include, among other things, a complete night-time curfew on Mykonos, where people will not be allowed to leave their homes from 20:00 until 08.00. Stricter measures will also apply for the daytime circulation of people for exercise, to attend ceremonies and help people in need, while a time limit of 15 minutes has been imposed for people walking their dogs. Authorities are also planning further restrictions for street markets and supermarkets.
For Santorini there was a decision to suspend all construction activity for 30 days with the exception of emergency public works.
