A song that chronicles the history of Athens from the time of Pericles to the German occupation, in aCuban style, was composed by the band Santa Palabra.
Santa Palabra, who are known for their live performances in Athens and of course their Cuban music, dedicated one of their songs to the Greek capital! Fun, snappy, dancable, with references from Pericles to Ottoman rule and the Germans and from the Parthenon to beautiful women.
Santa Palabra briefly tell in their own way, of course, the history of Athens, while their video clips they alternate images from the most beautiful corners of the city center with the dancers rocking in Cuban rhythms.
