Joint exercise with Greece, Egypt, France, the UAE, and Cyprus (vid)

Joint training of units from Greece, Egypt, France, the UAE, and Cyprus took place in a sea area north of Alexandria. The PASSEX (passing exercise) took place in the context of the preparation of the bilateral interdisciplinary exercise Greece-Egypt "Medusa 10".
As announced, in parallel with the joint exercise, Greek and Egyptian aircraft carried out missions to protect naval forces, as well as offensive operations.
The joint training took place after the cooperation of the Hellenic Armed Forces General Staff GEETHA with the General Staffs of the Armed Forces of the countries participating in the exercise.
Greece participated with two frigates, a submarine, four F-16 aircraft and an AWACS aircraft.
The Greece-Egypt inter-branch exercise "Medusa 10", in which Cyprus, France and the United Arab Emirates also participate, aims to co-educate and promote the cooperation of their units and contributes to the consolidation of security and stability in the wider region of the Joint exercise with Greece, Egypt, France, Eastern Mediterranean.
