Kidnapped car parts dealer released unharmed

A kidnapped businessman who owns a dealership selling vehicle spare parts was released unharmed in the Tatoi area in Attica, police sources said on Friday.
The 40-year-old was kidnapped in the Drafi area by unknown individuals on December 29, 2021. The kidnappers were asking for a ransom of one million euros to release him but the amount paid by the family is not yet known. However, several reports speak of 8000,000 euros, down from an original asked for ransom of 2 million euros.
He is testified at the Attica General Police Headquarters on Friday.
