Greek unemployment hits new highs

The jobless rate in Greece has hit a new high with some 28% of the working age population out of work as of November 2013, according to the latest government figures.
The unemployment rate for under-25's stands at 61.4%. The jobless rate in May 2010 was 12%.
The rate is more than double the average in the 28-member Eurozone of 12.1 percent in November, emphasizing the impact of more than three years of austerity on the employment sector in Greece.
