Greece’s unemployment rate has fallen to 7.9%, its lowest level in more than a decade, with 86,000 new jobs created in the past year alone, the country's labor minister has announced.

Greece’s unemployment rate has fallen to 7.9%, its lowest level in more than a decade, with 86,000 new jobs created in the past year alone, the country's labor minister has announced.
Young people aged 18-24 are at significant risk - in relation to other social and age groups - from poverty and social exclusion. This element - combined with the high youth unemployment (36.8% last April) - demonstrate the biggest problem of our country's youth.
The Greek unemployment rate eased to 12.2% of the workforce in March from 12.7% in February and 16.8% in March 2021, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Wednesday.
