FM Gerapetritis continues his contacts in New York

Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis will have a series of bilateral and multilateral contacts οn Thursday in New York, as part of the High Level Week of the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations. He will also attend the speech of the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at the United Nations General Assembly.
In particular, Gerapetritis will participate in the South Eastern Europe Cooperation Process (SEECP). He will also attend the ministerial meeting of the Summit of the Future and attend the signing event of the Implementing Agreement to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, for the protection of biodiversity in areas beyond national jurisdiction.
In addition, the minister will meet with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pejčinović Burić.
In the framework of promoting the Greek candidacy for the position of a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the period 2025-2026, but also for the promotion of Greece's bilateral relations, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will have meetings with his counterparts from Indonesia, Palestine, Kazakhstan and Iraq.
