An incident involving a group of anti-authoritarians attacking students occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

According to information, the group of anti-authoritarians attacked members of the United Independent Left Movement (EAAK) at the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics with batons and helmets.

According to the same information, there are injured, fortunately slightly, young students at the Faculty of Engineering who have injuries to their upper and lower limbs as well as blows to the head.

Two ambulances and an EKAB motorcycle are already inside the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki to provide first aid to the injured students, while it is being examined whether some will need to be transferred to the hospital for further medical care.

According to the information, six people have been injured.

Indeed, immediately after the incident, riot police forces arrived at the university institution. According to the same information, six arrests have been made.

It is noted that the incidents occurred one day before the student elections were held.
