Ensign Baltakos turns self in

The son of former cabinet secretary general Panos Baltakos, coast guard frogman, Dimitris Baltakos, turned himself in, at Coast Guard headquarters, Friday morning.
The coast guard ensign was involved in an incident on Wednesday, in which he assaulted Golden Dawn deputies in parliament, after Golden Dawn deputy Ilias Kasidiaris turned in to parliament tapes and transcripts of the conversation be tween the himself and Panos Baltakos, in which the latter alleges manipulation of justice by the government.
The head of the coast guard, admiral Athanasios Athanasopoulos has ordered an inquiry on the issue. The inquiry has been undertaken by the coast guard inspector general.
Ensign Dimitris Baltakos has been put at the disposal of the service right after the incident.
Golden Dawn deputies have tendered suit against the ensign at the Syntagma police precinct.
